Abruzzo Kitchen + Bath designed the kitchen using a honed Bianca Perla Quartzite stone, painted cabinets and wrought iron pulls. The focal point is a cased opening featuring a La Cornue oven with black graphite and copper and nickel accents and a custom metal hood.

Cooking essentials are all within reach for the serious chefs in this home! Faced with a cramped eat-in kitchen our job was to both maximize and open up the space. By relocating the refrigerator and surrounding it with pantry cabinets, we were able to create more counter space and allow space for two chefs. Warm stained-wood open corner shelving was installed to display the chefs’ favorite items and keep them right at an arm's reach. The breakfast table is now positioned at the window, giving diners a view of the beautiful backyard. The finishes (Executive Cabinetry - Putnam door style in Alabaster paint; Belgian Blue Satin quartz counters by Alleanza) blend seamlessly with the rest of the home.

Despite the fact that black and its shades prevail in the interior design of this kitchen, the room does not seem too gloomy thanks to the wide windows, through which sunlight easily penetrates the space of the room. In addition, the room is equipped with a few different types of lighting, including elegant miniature fixtures embedded in the ceiling, stylish pendant lights positioned directly above the kitchen island, as well as a few beautiful fixtures embedded in hanging kitchen cabinets. If you wish your kitchen looked like this one, be certain to contact Grandeur Hills Group interior designers who are sure to make your kitchen stand out!

This 1957 mid-century modern home in North Oaks, MN is beaming with character, charm and happens to be the designer, Megan Dent’s, favorite style. The rambler was purchased in February 2018 and the new design began immediately. Being a 60-year-old home, the whole home remodel made it an exciting, modern and fresh transformation! The galley kitchen features Décor Cabinets, Cambria and Corian Quartz surfaces, original parquet flooring with a beautiful statement pendant. The master bathroom highlights Corian Quartz with a miter fold and a stunning Jeffery Court backsplash. The other rooms and entire home ties together beautifully with cohesive accessories and professional design expertise leading the way. Scott Amundson Photography, LLC

The curves of the dark, oil-rubbed copper hood complement the kitchen’s more linear elements. Furniture-inspired features are used sparingly to add warmth without feeling too traditional. Photo by MIke Kaskel
