Heidi Reis / Abode Agency LLCThis Grant Park house was built in 1999. With that said, this bathroom was dated, builder grade with a tiny shower (3 ft x 3 ft) and a large jacuzzi-style 90s tub. The client was interested in a much larger shower, and he really wanted a sauna if squeeze it in there. Because this bathroom was tight, I decided we could potentially go into the large walk-in closet and expand to include a sauna. The client was looking for a refreshing coastal theme, a feel good space that was completely different than what existed.

emma delonThis beautiful master bathroom features a spacious wet room and double vanity with lots of storage. Wood-look hexagon tiles with a linear drain were used for the shower floor. The white subway tile and soaker tub contrast beautifully against the deep textural grays of the floor, and the glass accent band around the space helps tie the whole look together. The double vanity was done in a deep soft grey with white marble-look quartz countertop with a grey vein to accent the cabinetry. Dark framed mirrors play off the dark accents in the floor tile and the chrome hardware and plumbing fixtures help elevate the look.
DMC Home ImprovementElegant master bathroom finished with wood stained, raised panel cabinets and marble counter tops. We used a porcelain tile that mimics marble.... but requires no maintenance!! There was a custom stain glass window over the tub the homeowner wanted to keep. So we complimented it with a feather looking mosaic in the large shower niche and small hidden niche!!

CUSTOM CRAFT - Design Build RemodelWhile these homeowner enjoyed their old soaking tub, it was taking up too much space. By putting a smaller jacuzzi tub in, we were able to keep an important feature while reclaiming the space we needed to add a spacious shower. To create continuity between the two areas and add some sophisticated flair, our designer utilized linear tile accents in shades of gray.
