A choice of red painted cabinets on the island breaks up the expansion of white in this space. Clean lines and a simple shaker door stay in trend with current styles. Cambria quartz on the countertops in Laneshaw, compliment the color palette beautifully. Photo by Brian Walters

This black kitchen extension project in Surbiton is an excellent example of a modern design that incorporates natural materials to create a space that is as inviting as it is stunning. Our team worked closely with the client's son for the design, and we were able to bring their vision of a light, airy space to life - complete with wood accents, bare brickwork, and plenty of natural light. The Pronorm Y-line handleless cabinets in MP Black Satin Matt sit beautifully against all the natural materials of the room and in sharp contrast with the Silestone Calacatta worktops and splashbacks. The tall units house Miele ovens, fridges, and larder storage, while the island house the Miele vented hob and wine fridge. Meanwhile, the sink area features a Quooker Cube tap and a copper glass backsplash that nicely complements the other copper accessories in the space. The result is a stunning family kitchen that's bright, fresh, and full of life. Incorporating natural elements is a great way to add warmth and character to any modern space.

By adding a small addition to the right side of the home we were able to enlarge the client's kitchen and dining room. Several interior walls were also relocated to accommodate a first floor guest suite.

To create a strong focal point for the room, the fireplace was designed with a new steel facade and treated with a product that will allow it to acquire a warm patina with age.

This design features dark blue shaker style cabinets in 'Dock Blue' with an eggshell finish by Little Greene Paint Company. These dark cabinets with oak interiors are complemented with brass fixtures and fittings. Worksurfaces are Silestone Blanco Zeus quartz with a square edge for a clean look. Under cabinet lighting and interior lighting for the pantry cabinet in this design provide extra illumination. A chimney-style extractor and space for the Rangemaster cooker was built into the design as well as a large breakfast pantry cabinet / kitchen dresser cabinet for extra convenience and storage. The large island, which also provides ample storage, has a built in double Belfast sink and breakfast bar.

This was a whole house remodel, the owners are more transitional in style, and they had a lot of special requests including the suspended bar seats on the bar, as well as the geometric circles that were custom to their space. The doors, moulding, trim work and bar are all completely custom to their aesthetic interests. We tore out a lot of walls to make the kitchen and living space a more open floor plan for easier communication, The hidden bar is to the right of the kitchen, replacing the previous closet pantry that we tore down and replaced with a framed wall, that allowed us to create a hidden bar (hidden from the living room) complete with a tall wine cooler on the end of the island. These clients were ready to turn their existing home into their dream home. They wanted to completely gut their main floor to improve the function of the space. Some walls were taken down, others moved, powder room relocated and lots of storage space added to their kitchen. The homeowner loves to bake and cook and really wanted a larger kitchen as well as a large informal dining area for lots of family gatherings. We took this project from concept to completion, right down to furnishings and accessories.
