This rustic modern home was purchased by an art collector that needed plenty of white wall space to hang his collection. The furnishings were kept neutral to allow the art to pop and warm wood tones were selected to keep the house from becoming cold and sterile. Published in Modern In Denver | The Art of Living. This four-story cottage bungalow is designed to perch on a steep shoreline, allowing homeowners to get the most out of their space. The main level of the home accommodates gatherings with easy flow between the living room, dining area, kitchen, and outdoor deck. The midlevel offers a lounge, bedroom suite, and the master bedroom, complete with access to a private deck. The family room, kitchenette, and beach bath on the lower level open to an expansive backyard patio and pool area. At the top of the nest is the loft area, which provides a bunk room and extra guest bedroom suite.

The Quinn's Entryway welcomes you with a touch of natural charm and modern sophistication. The focal point is the wooden 4-lite door, which adds warmth and character to the space. A mirror enhances the sense of openness and reflects the natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere. Light hardwood flooring complements the door and creates a seamless transition into the home. The black door hardware adds a contemporary flair and serves as a stylish accent. The Quinn's Entryway sets the tone for the rest of the home, combining elements of nature and modern design.

Having been neglected for nearly 50 years, this home was rescued by new owners who sought to restore the home to its original grandeur. Prominently located on the rocky shoreline, its presence welcomes all who enter into Marblehead from the Boston area. The exterior respects tradition; the interior combines tradition with a sparse respect for proportion, scale and unadorned beauty of space and light.
