The green tones of this kitchen give a modern twist to this traditional home. Beaded board coffered ceiling delineates the kitchen space in this open floor plan. Two-level island in the center offers work area in the kitchen side and a buffet-style cabinet in the dining-room side.

This built in cabinetry is perfect for storage and adding visual height to this traditional kitchen. The open shelving allows accent pieces to be put on display while also acting as a home to the kitchen TV. This green cabinetry becomes center of attention cornered between this dark contrasting wood cabinetry. Normandy Remodeling

This timeless kitchen is the perfect example of how rich color sets the mood. Inspired by Sherwin-Williams’ Dried Thyme, the green cabinetry brings a warm and contemporary look. The kitchen’s original layout is what attracted the owners to this home so with a few changes, the space now better fits the owners’ needs. Straightening out a wall by the large bay window provided space to move the dishwasher, and gave room to build a tall cabinet with organized pullout drawers next to the stove for easy access and storage. This also created room to build a hidden appliance garage and flipping the location of the island sink provided more accessibility to the stove. The bow front stove hood provides visual relief for the linear nature of the cabinets. Green ceramic tiles surround the porcelain herringbone tile in the contrasting niche dedicated to spices and oils, and the adjacent pot filler provides convenience. The island was increased in size to provide for more storage and metal domed pendants provide lighting for both prepping and eating. Double-wall ovens have side handles for easy opening and convenience and provide easy access in a busy kitchen area. Separating the dining room from the kitchen with the addition of a butler door, created space to easily connect and move between the two rooms while minimizing noise. Photographer: Andrew Orozco

The kitchen is marked by its folding kitchen window and range wall and white quartz countertops for easy clean up. The island is a combination of natural stone and a big thick chopping block. We designed a custom brass metal glass holder, which hangs in front of a side window. The before kitchen was configured complete different but now the new kitchen focuses on the amazing backyard with an indoor outdoor countertop bar which all can enjoy when lounging at the raised pool

Industrial transitional English style kitchen. The addition and remodeling were designed to keep the outdoors inside. Replaced the uppers and prioritized windows connected to key parts of the backyard and having open shelvings with walnut and brass details. Custom dark cabinets made locally. Designed to maximize the storage and performance of a growing family and host big gatherings. The large island was a key goal of the homeowners with the abundant seating and the custom booth opposite to the range area. The booth was custom built to match the client's favorite dinner spot. In addition, we created a more New England style mudroom in connection with the patio. And also a full pantry with a coffee station and pocket doors.

View of the corner of an L-shaped kitchen with a central island. The shaker style cabinets with beaded frames are painted in Little Greene Obsidian Green. The handles a brass d-bar style. The worktop on the perimter units is Iroko wood and the island worktop is honed, pencil veined Carrara marble. The black painted sash windows are surrounded by non-bevelled white metro tiles with a dark grey grout. The flooring is hexagon shaped, cement encaustic tiles. A lush large palm plant adds foliage.
