We loved transforming this one-bedroom apartment in Chelsea. The list of changes was pretty long, but included rewiring, replastering, taking down the kitchen wall to make the lounge open-plan and replacing the floor throughout the apartment with beautiful hardwood. It was important for the client to have a home office desk, so we decided on an L-shape sofa to make maximum use of the space. The large pendant light added drama and a focal point to the room. And the off-white colour palette provided a subtle backdrop for the art. You'll notice that either side of the fireplace we have mirrored the wall, gives the illusion of the room being larger and also boosts the light flooding into the room.

These remarkable exposed trusses also feature in
the master suite and, stretch an impressive 12 metres from the interior to the covered deck, creating a continuous ceiling. A double sided schist fireplace, stonework, and charred oak coloured flooring create a cohesive look throughout.

The dining area has a bespoke serving unit with bronzed tiles - further adding to the glamour of the space.
The large modular sofa in the living area creates the perfect space to snuggle up on an evening with a glass of wine.
The whole space is framed with 2 full walls of curtains which help to add depth to the space.

Award-finalist conversion of a former church into a luxury holiday home, celebrating original architecture while introducing contemporary design and comfort.

This dramatic house was designed to take full advantage of this fantastic site and the views that it offers over Howth. The site slopes steeply upwards from the street entrance on the North of the site to the South with a change in level of in excess of 6m, with a substantial part of the change of level occurring towards the front of the site. The house is very energy efficiency and has a low level of energy consumption. This was achieved through the use of solar water heating and high levels of insulation allowing the internal environment of this large house to be heated by a very small boiler that is rarely required.
The exterior features off-white render, glazed balconies, zinc and a selection of indigenous stones.
