This photo, which shows the tall trees and small shrubs around the house, is a good representation of how paint colors can work well with nature. The gold of the window frames and shutters stand in contrast to the green of the foliage. The charcoal grey works to make the house feel very much as if it belongs to its surroundings.

To unify the mismatched elements of the exterior, the entire home was painted in a dark charcoal. Matt black accents were added, while a timber door provides warmth.
Dieppe Design
Engaged by the client to update this 1970's architecturally designed waterfront home by Frank Cavalier, we refreshed the interiors whilst highlighting the existing features such as the Queensland Rosewood timber ceilings.
The concept presented was a clean, industrial style interior and exterior lift, collaborating the existing Japanese and Mid Century hints of architecture and design.
A project we thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish, we hope you do too.

Cillessen Construction Company
Attractive mid-century modern home built in 1957.
Scope of work for this design/build remodel included reworking the space for an open floor plan, making this home feel modern while keeping some of the homes original charm. We completely reconfigured the entry and stair case, moved walls and installed a free span ridge beam to allow for an open concept. Some of the custom features were 2 sided fireplace surround, new metal railings with a walnut cap, a hand crafted walnut door surround, and last but not least a big beautiful custom kitchen with an enormous island. Exterior work included a new metal roof, siding and new windows.
dasMOD
dasMOD took care in their landscaping plan by designing around an existing tree, a vestige of the previous landscape and the relationship shared between residence and site providing a warmth with seamless flow from the inside to the outside.
RB Painting
Another update by the RB Painting team. This 60's ranch given a fresh face with a light gray stucco exterior paint job and a fantastic red accent at the front door.
