Modern Black Pool Design Ideas
This expansive pool and hot tub area complete with full bar, fireplace and waterfall feature are the definition of luxury in the mountains. Only in Aspen, Colorado can you find a space this decadent with such a timeless understated design.
The outdoor kitchen and bar extends the modern design theme with a limestone mini brick wall providing support for the 3’ x 20’ white quartz Caesarstone countertop. The premium stainless steel grill, sink and drawer system make life easy for the outdoor chef, while the six acrylic bar stools add the final designer touch.

This Trilogy Fiberglass Columbia Model, flat back kidney shaped swimming pool, in river rock color, is 14.5’ x 28’. The shallow depth is 5’ and 10” depth at deep end.
The deck is a Smooth Finished Concrete with a Rock Salt Finish and Cantilever Coping
Project also had a 3 ft retaining wall built to combat slope and keep whole yard as useable space. All Pentair equipment used and a Color Changing LED Light is in the pool as well.
A contemporary pergola matching the architecture of the glass-filled home was installed poolside. ShadeFX customized a 16’ x 12’ manual retractable canopy in a Sunbrella silica silver fabric granting a lighter flair. The simple aesthetic of clean lines and minimal clutter presented a seamless touch.

This custom swim resistance swim spa features a commercial-quality swim resistance system for current swimming. The swim spa also features an automatic pool safety cover, a therapeutic exercise bar, Primera Stone Diamond Head Treasure pool finish, and a Basketball system. The coping is Bluestone, and the planks that clad the exposed wall are Valder's Dovewhite limestone. There is also a mosaic tile border as well as on the stair treads. Photos by Larry Huene.

When most people think of the ideal pool, they think of an in ground swimming pool. Little do they realize, however, that the benefits of the Deck-Pool and Olympic-Eagle on ground pools mean that they are not hindered by the many problems that can plague ordinary cheap above ground pools and in ground swimming pool owners.

In addition to all of this, on ground pools are not prone to the same effects of terrain and ground water as in ground swimming pools. For example: clay soil, sloping yards, rocky terrain, high water tables, and standing water can all wreak havoc on in ground pools, as can the ground upheaval associated with the winters many of us have come to know all too well. Because they are built-on-the-ground, our Deck-Pool and Olympic Eagle swimming pools are not affected by such factors.
