AFTER PICTURE
Motor City Granite and Cabinets did it again! Our Newcastle clients were looking for an updated, fresh space for their basement bar. Using our cabinet design and installation services, our clients went with cabinets from Fabuwood, in Espresso from their Allure/Galaxy line. Counters in Pure White, slabs supplied by Universal Granite and Marble (Detroit). Motor City Granite fabricated and installed the quartz counters to make the space, fresh, clean and modern.

36" SubZero Pro Refrigerator anchors one end of the back wall of this basement bar. The other side is a hidden pantry cabinet. The wall cabinets were brought down the countertop and include glass doors and glass shelves. Glass shelves span the width between the cabients and sit in front of a back lit glass panel that adds to the ambiance of the bar. Undercounter wine refrigerators were incorporated on the back wall as well.

An exotic wood with its aesthetic drawn from the stems of banana leaves, Sant’Agostino’s Pictart series brings a fresh concept to the field of rustic woods. Combining the characteristic streaks of the plant and the brushstrokes of paint on a gentle relief, Pictart is rich and inviting. It is perfect for commercial and residential areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms.

The 3 bed/2.5 bath home is situated on 3 levels, taking full advantage of the otherwise limited lot. Guests are welcomed into the home through a full-lite entry door, providing natural daylighting to the entry and front of the home. The modest living space persists in expanding its borders through large windows and sliding doors throughout the family home. Intelligent planning, thermally-broken aluminum windows, well-sized overhangs, and Selt external window shades work in tandem to keep the home’s interior temps and systems manageable and within the scope of the stringent PHIUS standards.
