Olive green walls mixed with white, grey, mustard yellow and orange make this 14 year old boy’s room a cool place to hang out and entertain friends, as well as get on with his homework when absolutely necessary. The bed is a small double, so nice and spacious for a growing lad but not so big as to to dominate the room. Adding a house plant or two gives the room a natural homely feel and of course the cuddly sloth is bang on trend for teens!

In collaboration with architect Joan Heaton, we came up with this design for an English styled pub for the basement of a Vermont ski chalet. It involved quite a bit of curved woodworking as well as many hand carved details. It is made of Honduran Mahogany with an oil rubbed finish. The combination of these elements give it a bold yet delicate impression. The contractor for this project was Brothers Construction, Waitsfield, Vermont. The architect was Joan Heaton Architecture, Bristol, Vermont, and the photographs are by Susan Teare of Essex Junction, Vermont

This is an eclectic bedroom we designed for a college girl to come home to. We started with the black and white fabric and the pink painted walls and ceiling. We added some antique and French furniture, some of which we reupholstered and repainted. The curtains and desk seat are covered in a print which picks up all of the colors. We added citron yellow as a "pop" color and made a few pillows for the bed and chair. The mirror and desk lamp gives it a slight deco look. The quilt on the end of the bed is an antique piece, as well as the desk and chairs.

The original kitchen cabinets were updated with a new Granite Natural Stone countertop in Tan Brown and Panaria D. Manson 12x12 tile with a bullnose edge. A new Artisan stainless steel sink was installed and the original faucet and water purifier was reinstalled.
