We wanted a grayed barn-wood look for this television cabinet. Heavier forged iron hardware completes this look.
Media Rooms Inc
Preparing molding with multiple layers of gold metallic paint for an Art Deco home theater.
Our company is unique in that we actually design and build cabinets and theater interiors in-house. We do not subcontract these services out to others. We take a highly creative approach when designing custom cabinetry. We are extremely sensitive to the leading role that media and entertainment centers play in today’s interior design.
Every facet of each cabinet is evaluated for function and appearance. First, we look at how the furniture will blend with the existing environment. We build any style of furniture from traditional to contemporary and in all cases strive for harmony in the design. Secondly, we evaluate how the client will use the cabinetry, such as, where is the best TV viewing angle, component accessibility and how the size, shape and location will affect other elements in the room.
In addition to the artistic beauty of our cabinetry, good design is the key element to well built, long-lasting and user-friendly furniture crafted specifically for each customer’s lifestyle. We only use premium-grade veneered plywoods and hardwood, and premium quality hardware.
All Cabinets, Theater Interiors and Electronic Installations shown were Designed, Built and Installed by Media Rooms Inc.
DTV INSTALLATIONS LLC
The room was being completely redesigned and the dry wall was opened up during construction, so DTV was able to run all wiring necessary for the TV, video components, audio system and speakers hidden between the cement and dry wall during that period.
We installed a Peerless SUA765PI wall mount for the Samsung UN55HU7100 high-definition television seen in the space between the cabinets. On the shelves below are the system’s Marantz NR-1605 home theater receiver and the client’s Blu-ray player, PS2 and WII.

Home Theater Room designed and built to immerse the viewers into the movie they are watching. All the walls and ceiling are treated with acoustic panels and base traps to help control the sound. A fiber optic ceiling suspended from the ceiling and back lit with LED lighting to help accent the room.

The hidden home theater is cozy, but the interior dimensions were designed using the 'Golden Room' acoustical dimensions. Specific acoustic treatments were applied to all of the interior surfaces. The result was sound that rivals any commercial cinema and an experience the homeowner enjoys weekly.
Custom Works AV Inc
After. We added fabric covered walls for the acoustical properties, upgraded the TV and installed a Totem Acoustics surround speaker package.
