To make the storage adequate and also define a dining area in the new open floorplan I designed a painted 'breakfront' with a wood countertop. Nothing personalizes a space like ones own objects on display!

The in-law suite kitchen could only be in a small corner of the basement. The kitchen design started with the question: how small can this kitchen be? The bold colors and fun patterns anchored by the warmth of the dark wood flooring create a happy and invigorating space.

This floor-to-ceiling kitchen remodel really pops with color and personality! The apron sink is centered directly in front of the window, with plenty of task lighting throughout the space and colorful tile and display shelves incorporated into the design, to add visual interest and depth to the room.

The kitchen in this remodeled 1960s house is colour-blocked against a blue panelled wall which hides a pantry. White quartz worktop bounces dayight around the kitchen. Geometric splash back adds interest. The tiles are encaustic tiles handmade in Spain. The U-shape of this kitchen creates a "peninsula" which is used daily for preparing food but also doubles as a breakfast bar.
