Working with a local metal fabricator, we created custom wine holders to match the modern aesthetic of the home, turning an under-utilized space into a focal point of the home.

This under-stair wine cellar presented several design challenges. Chief amongst which: how to avoid making this cramped, dark space feel like an afterthought compared to the grandeur of the rest of the home. The design team at Architectural Plastics quickly came up with a solution. A series of stepped height, clear acrylic wine racks offered maximum storage for the multi-level ceiling. Built in wine fridges are a great retrofit solution for homes. Vinomagna offers fully built-in Eurocave wine fridge cabinetry solutions. Creating a custom look wine display without the need for any additional major building works to your property. Our custom refrigerated wine wall projects will require an outdoor cooling system. However, there are no external cooling plant requirements with premium off the shelf wine fridges. The Design process for a built in wine fridge: In this project, the client lives in a top floor penthouse apartment in London. He requested a floor to ceiling wine display, sitting between the existing window frames. A built-in wine fridge solution for multi-tenanted buildings like this is the perfect solution. Making any building alterations to fit a custom refrigeration system will require the freeholder’s permission. The decision on the design was quickly accessed for a built-in wine fridge, clad in custom luxury finishes. In addition, the high ceiling height allowed for overhead storage to be factored in. There is a display counter clad in antique mirror, luxury marble and polished brass. The overhead polished brass glass hanger holds approx 16-20 glasses. This brass has been polished through a multi-stage buffing process that ensures the highest-grade finish. The under-counter drawer is for small item storage. There is an allocated area under the drawer for the clients refrigerated cigar humidor. This built-in wine fridge display incorporates all the features you would need for a small fit-out project. The Eurocave wine fridge can store the wine between 5-20°C. There is an area for room temperature counter top whiskey bottles illuminated with soft LED lighting. Overhead glass storage in a beautiful custom brass structure. Finally, a place to maintain the wine or champagne temperature while drinking it.

This wine storage is conveniently placed near the kitchen. Your guests can easily pour their own beverage without leaving the main entertainment area. The beautiful cabinet detail creates a clean and visually pleasing symmetrical serving station. This butler sits between the kitchen dinette and the dining room... where most of your guests will be spending time.

This homeowner had extensive collections of both high end wines and bourbon. Wine and bourbon require completely different storage solutions, so naturally, two unique and completely separate rooms were created to showcase them both. The homeowners were fantastic in meeting with our team to collaborate on a bourbon room and wine cellar design that worked within their special spaces and budget. The House itself has a rustic, yet refined and modern farmhouse feel throughout. The modern, elegant, yet vintage style look of the small wine cellar, especially, fit seamlessly with the interior design. The Bourbon cellar is not cooled, but resides in a shaded interior section within the house as to maintain a constant temperature. Additionally, with close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, sunny Ladera Ranch, a community in Orange County, California never really sees average temperatures above 80 Degrees. The Bourbon Room showcases a custom wrought iron door, and upon entering features a modular style show cabinet with multiple levels. Custom wine cellar doors, and custom wrought iron doors truly add that special feeling and look to your walk in wine room. A door used for a wine room would be fitted with dual pane glass as to better maintain temperature and humidity within. A room such as this could also double as craft beer storage. Beer storage, requires bottles to stand straight up as to not rust the cap, as well as compress any remaining yeast residues at the bottom of the bottle instead of mixed throughout. Craft beer as a whole has become an incredibly burgeoning industry, especially in places like San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in California, and Portland in Oregon. This small walk in wine cellar incorporates a custom wrought iron door as well, fitted with glass as discussed prior. The wine room has one solid wall of individual bottle storage, leading into the showcase wall with room for case storage and more individual bottle storage above the countertop and decanting area.
