A beautiful living space with a lot of light through a full wall of windows. The homeowner had done some upgrades tot he room but disliked them and hired me to fix those mistakes and make the room light, bright and welcoming while maintaining her personal style.

This cutie home in the Norhill section of the Houston Heights neighborhood has a special place in my heart because it was home to one of our best friends, his new family AND after, to my little sister and her family! Before we put it on the market, it needed a refresh and some staging. We went bold with the exterior paint colors and the kitchen cabinets and it turned out really adorable! We also updated all of the light fixtures, hardware, built a custom front door, added a new brick walkway and redesigned the back yard space. I can’t wait to see this home serve the next family who moves in!

The client wanted a shabby-chic style with pops of colour. She wanted to create a space where she could work from home without it looking too overcrowded. She wanted her space to feel brighter and with more character. We added a wall paper to add dimension and character to her space, while also introducing lots of texture. We swapped out her dark cabinets for bright white furniture pieces to lighten up the space.
Anthology Woods
Reclaimed Wood barn door on sliding track conceals the entry to the bathroom, and provides warmth and texture.. The white painted walls are also reclaimed wood. Hooks mounted on the door serve as a coat-hanging space near the entry as well. The weathered brown and gray wood is reclaimed from the original structure where the guest house sits.
