This riverfront property received a major facelift while keeping with the traditional style of the home. Working between an existing bulkhead and a covered patio off the back of the house, we incorporated various design elements to add plenty of "rooms" for the homeowners to entertain in. The linear pool features an elevated inset spa, with infinity edge. The pool deck, landing, and cabana floor are travertine. Brick stairs and walls match the existing brick from the property. A linear fire pit sits in a sunken gravel patio, to create a more intimate space and soften the feel of the hardscape surround. Raised planters break up space and add a bright pop of color, encouraging butterflies and birds to visit often.

Residential Landscape Containers. Add a hanging basket to your pergola to make your area a bit more exotic. You need to look closely to see the irrigation line that keeps the plants happy all summer.

Dallas Small Yard - Spectacular Fountain/Pool. This one of a kind fountain blends with this traditional home and is inspired by Italy's Villa D' Este Walk of 100 Fountains. To create a lush garden feel and still have lots of room for gatherings generally is a challenge but we were able to strike the right balance.
The center fountain provides a focal point from the home. The brick patterns and color was an exact match to the home brick details and was carried to the brick surround of the fountain sconces. Also, the center water feature provides some seating with the raised basin and tied in with the raised planters which created maximum privacy with the plantings. The lower basin provided a wrap around feature to enjoy throughout the space and lengthen the line of sight. Black Granite was used inside the feature for more reflection and contrast. Lush plantings, pots, a living green wall and the synthetic grass create a definite garden feel, but still allow plenty of space to entertain all day or all night under the string lights. So come on over and enjoy this small but sensational backyard. FarleyPoolDesigns.com

This outdoor living space was transformed from an empty patio into an inviting outdoor living environment for relaxing and entertaining friends and family.
An oversized, raised spa anchors the center of this courtyard to provide a relaxing escape and serves as a fountain feature to be viewed from all the interior rooms.
A new custom pavilion structure was built to provide the owners with an outdoor entertaining area that can be comfortable for a small group and can also accommodate a large dinner party or large group.
The new outdoor kitchen features plenty of room for the chef and serving. The room can also fit a 12 person dining table that sits under a vaulted ceiling and below a custom built decorative chandelier that sets just the right mood.
The travertine decking is surrounded by lush gardens to provide visual interest throughout the year. The project is also as equally inviting in the evening with extensive landscape lighting to set just the right mood for this private outdoor courtyard.
