The client admired this Victorian home from afar for many years before purchasing it. The extensive rehabilitation restored much of the house to its original style and grandeur; interior spaces were transformed in function while respecting the elaborate details of the era. A new kitchen, breakfast area, study and baths make the home fully functional and comfortably livable.

To transform this bedroom from dark to dreamy, the walls were lightened, and heavy, dark window coverings were removed. A hand-painted mural was designed with inspiration from a wallpaper we showed the client, but with no repetition and designed to surround and complement the mirrored bed, which replaced the heavy dark masculine bed. Luxe, colorful drapes, and light sheers were motorized for ease of use and to enjoy the view.
