This stone fireplace design is made from Quick-fit manufactured stone comprised of panels and interlocking corners. Placing the wood mantel below the fireplace is a unique design idea that adds to the character of your fireplace. When the stone is stacked, it creates the illusion of a larger project and provides a modern and seamless finish.

Our St. Pete studio designed this stunning pied-à-terre for a couple looking for a luxurious retreat in the city. Our studio went all out with colors, textures, and materials that evoke five-star luxury and comfort in keeping with their request for a resort-like home with modern amenities. In the vestibule that the elevator opens to, we used a stylish black and beige palm leaf patterned wallpaper that evokes the joys of Gulf Coast living. In the adjoining foyer, we used stylish wainscoting to create depth and personality to the space, continuing the millwork into the dining area. We added bold emerald green velvet chairs in the dining room, giving them a charming appeal. A stunning chandelier creates a sharp focal point, and an artistic fawn sculpture makes for a great conversation starter around the dining table. We ensured that the elegant green tone continued into the stunning kitchen and cozy breakfast nook through the beautiful kitchen island and furnishings. In the powder room, too, we went with a stylish black and white wallpaper and green vanity, which adds elegance and luxe to the space. Family room is a blend of traditional and cottage.

We replaced the fireplace with a more efficient linear fireplace, installed stacked stone tile, a live edge wood mantel, and cabinets with floating shelves on either side of the fireplace.

No surface was left untouched in this Lakeview Craftsman home. We've worked with these clients over the past few years on multiple phases of their home renovation. We fully renovated the first and second floor in 2016, the basement was gutted in 2017 and the exterior of the home received a much needed facelift in 2018, complete with siding, a new front porch, rooftop deck and landscaping to pull it all together. Everything about this family room makes you want to curl up with a book and never leave. A dark ceiling color and wood paneling lend this den a cozy intimate feeling. One large gathering space was created by removing the wall and combining the living and family rooms. The Colonial-style fireplace was transformed into a Pinterest-worthy feature by removing an adjoining closet, and adding a custom mantel and floating shelves. The shiplap treated wall pops with a coat of Glidden "Puddle Jumper."

The homeowner tasked SV Design to create spaces in their home that reflected their character and personality. The project started off with adding a coffee bar, which then turned into a full design project that SV tailored room by room. The home has a mix of traditional and transitional design with a slight emphasis on a southern hospitality to this New England home. The music room was furnished to appreciate the collection of books to accommodate a grand piano and to allow for cozy seating at the fireplace. We selected a curved sofa with a matching curved table, to draw attention to the room’s centerpieces— the fireplace and piano. The wood tones of the space give a cozy feel, perfect for a chilly fall day.
