Lighthouse Outdoor Lighting of Indianapolis
A combination of ground based up lighting and tree mounted down lighting was added to this landscape to add some accent lighting to the long driveway into the residence and create a more welcoming atmosphere. LED, low voltage lights were used in the design of all of the lighting.

A new home overlooking the salt marsh called for a naturalistic planting with multi-seasonal interest. Grades were modified to integrate the house and terraces with the surrounding landscape, and a sharp embankment was softened with a retaining wall and planting. Specimen trees, shrub borders, grasses and perennials connect the house with the landscape and help to define exterior spaces.
Verdant Grounds
The hot tub is surrounded by plantings of variegated ivy, pentas and sweet potato vine perfect for summer, part shaded areas of the landscape. These plants leave less mess around pool areas.
Relax and play in this lush backyard landscape featuring a custom stone hot tub surrounded by seasonal color and perennials, a tucked-away stone patio, and a serene palette. Plantings are colorful yet low-maintenance. Pockets for annual color changes are provided so the homeowners can enjoy the changing of the seasons. A custom built stone fire place becomes a central focal point for outdoor entertaining. Strategically placed patio planters and hanging baskets make the space feel lush.

This is my front yard and test garden at one year old. It is a combination of grasses, succulents and drought tolerant perennials and shrubs. I'm testing plants that will deliver low water use without looking dry, which is what most clients want. This is busier than most people like but its because I'm testing so many plants out.

Moss covered boulders and drystack stone combine beautifully and look right at home in this natural setting. The steps are thick cut bluestone to match the stone used for the patio and walk leading to this space.

Created a design that reflected the clients clean and tailored style. They wanted white as the stand out color. I loved working in this very formal color pallet. Boxwoods are always dressy and formal.
