An eclectic mix of woods and natural fibers. The white cushions give a clean look and the throw pillows add to the comfort. The tables, again, bring our the whimsey that the owner wants. The painting is an original piece by Nantucket artist Elizabeth Congdon. The wooden ceiling adds an artisan touch while helping soften the space.

Primary wall for entertainment center in the living room painted a rich blue with accent paint in seafoam green on the adjacent wall and ceiling areas of the alcove.
The same seafoam color was extended to the beams in the ceiling of this space and also used for the ceiling in the adjacent dining area. The deep blue color of this wall was also used for the interior of the front doors in a high-gloss lacquer.

Hired to create a paint plan for vacation condo in Belize. Beige tile floor and medium-dark wood trim and cabinets to remain throughout, but repainting all walls and ceilings in 2 bed/2 bath beach condo.

The clients brief outlined a three bedroom home with a separate master bedroom, flexible living spaces and gourmet kitchen to meet the potential client market for older couples without children. The interplay of the rainforest and outdoor living spaces were paramount to the concept. Creating a seamless transition from the entry to the interior footprint using vistas of this landscape was critical to the concept. The sense of arrival is heightened by the spatial arrangement and treatment of walls, piers, glass and landscaping. This residence represents an environmentally sustainable design for the Tropics.
