“As soon as we found Modbox there was not a chance we would go through anyone else to build our home. The team are down to earth, understood our ideas and let us do it our way while guiding us 100% to get the project off the ground and just as importantly to get it finished. Now we are living in our Modbox we wouldn't change a thing, the house has been warm through a Central Otago winter using only one heat pump and holds it's warmth overnight. We love the design quirks that make a Modbox uniquely what it is.”

“We started with Mark Gray mid 2015, and asked him for a house design to incorporate certain elements we had seen previously in other designs. As a holiday home, we wanted a certain "feel" to the main Lounge/Dining area, with exposed timber finishes on floor and ceiling. We ended up with something we wouldn't change a thing on. Mark nailed it. We found Mark very easy to work with, and while he is a fairly quiet and patient person (he had to be), he certainly spoke up if he felt something wasn't what he felt would work. Would we use Mark again, absolutely. Along the way we had dinner a couple of times, met his wife and a son, and they are decent people, which reflects in Mark's passion to see you get what you want, even with his subtle prodding along the way to get some of what he wants too.”
