“We enlisted Rock Paper Hammer to design and overhaul our back deck, sun room, laundry room and 3rd floor. Emily (Architect), Derek and TM (Contractors) were extremely professional, detail-oriented, trustworthy and committed to very high quality workmanship. Emily's designs are crisp and thoughtful and she works collaboratively, readily incorporating the home owner's ideas and input. Derek and TM executed emily's architectural drawings perfectly and worked precisely within budget. We're very pleased with the final product and would hire Rock Paper Hammer again without a moment's hesitation. I would emphatically recommend this strong team to anyone with an appreciation for good design and craftsmanship.”

“The best way to describe if one likes or dislikes their builder is if they continue to work with them. Greg Burrus built our Norton Common House 10 years ago. We chose his construction over others due to his creativity, craftsmanship, and quality of materials. When ever we've needed him he has always been their immediately for us. So when it was time to finish our basement 5 years later, Greg was our first choice. No he wasn't the cheapest. Their are plenty of cheap builders around. He is the best and there is no free lunch. Now we are talking to Greg about a major addition or perhaps even a new house. That's how much we respect the work he does along with his associate Scott Tomes. So if you are looking for a quality builder...Look no further than Burrus Architecture & Construction. I also noted a negative review on Google. It is obviously a fraud most likely by a competitor. First for what it says and factually for what the claim about the way things are done in Norton Commons. Google will not remove a comment even after protest and hence it is still inappropriately here.”

“We had great fun working with Kim. We were new to renovation with the task of creating a livable space in an underutilized attic. Kim started tossing ideas our way, but only after listening to what we were interest in and what we wanted to pay. It's nice working with someone who listens and doesn't just stick to their own agenda. The result is a bright, open airy space we all enjoy, especially our guests who we usually toss up there!”

“We had a 3 year old home which we loved but was no longer working for our growing family. We approached OWA to add a bedroom and media space to the basement and much needed functionality and light to our home office. In the end, they improved nearly every room in our home. It was wonderful having all the trades including painting, millwork, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, flooring, and drywall under their direction. This was our first experience with a design-build firm, fortunately OWA laid out the process beforehand and expertly guided us through planning, drafting, demo, and construction. The team worked carefully and thoughtfully to incorporate the new design seamlessly into our existing architecture. We couldn't be happier with the quality of construction and attention to detail.”

“Jesse was instrumental in the architecture and design of our remodel. She is highly professional and knowledgeable. She is very efficient and knows how to get the "job done". From every aspect of the project starting with initial architectural blueprints and CAD files, down to the minutest details of flooring, tile, fixtures, fittings, color schemes and furniture choices Jesse was one of the main leads on our team. She was also able to help negotiate with the contractor and was instrumental in helping us secure a refund after our ceilings weren't able to be a high as initially planned.”
