“I was in the process of updating my kitchen and a few other areas of my house, and though I knew what I had in mind I just needed that extra inspiration to make sure I got it right the first time! I had heard about Emma through the grapevine and decided to ask for her help. She was so friendly and helpful to deal with and totally understood what I wanted. With her expertise she sourced beautiful products that I would never have been able to find myself and made me look outside the square with colour choices and textures. What I also loved was that some of the things I originally wanted to change she made me look at in a new light and realise that with some smaller subtle changes I didn't actually have to change as much as I thought, which much to my husbands delight was a cost saving. I certainly could not have achieved the same results on my own without her inspiration, or had the choice of so many product options, which made all the difference in the world and added so much more value to our house. Emma is a true professional, with a great sense of style, who provides an awesome service. She is so friendly, competent and up to date with what is happening in the design field. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to family and friends and have indeed done so. She will certainly be my go to person from now on for whatever I am doing in my own home. “Four Walls Architecture designed a large contemporary home for us on a site situated in Westmere, Auckland. They carried out the conceptual design work, assisted with the resource consent application and completed the detailed design and building consent application. Our brief was quite specific in regards to the general look we were trying to achieve, the size and layout of the home, the use of low maintenance materials and a high degree of energy efficiency. The design process was a very pleasant experience and Four Walls was always open to discussing any ideas or opinions we had and incorporating them into the design accordingly. The home is currently being built and it is great seeing how the ideas are being transformed from plans and computer models to a physical form. The way it is turning out has exceeded our expectations in a number of ways and it is truly turning out to be our dream home! Four Walls has continued to be very helpful and provide assistance to both us and the builder in a timely manner during the building process. I have already recommended them to another family member who is using them for an extensive renovation in Herne Bay and would certainly not hesitate recommending them to anyone else, or to use them again.”
