“"I would highly recommend Michael Arnett to be your contractor. We had a great experience with him in our major remodel of our home and we love it!! Prior to using Michael we had a smaller house in SW Portland we had done some remodeling to and was not as easy as an experience as we did with Michael.. Michael was spot on in his budget and as we went along with any upgrades etc. he was so consistent in letting us know if we chose added cost. I honestly will recommend him to anyone.”

“Jamie has worked alongside my general contracting company for many years. Her services are top notch in every way. She's very creative with problem solving and her designs are super detailed. She often identifies future problems before a build even begins. She's saved my butt several times with her foresight and thoroughness. Often times (especially in the remodel world) things need to be modified and she's very quick in finding solutions and improvements along the way. I never want to hire anyone else. 12 out of 10!!”

They provide an excellent set of architectural plans, and an amazing amount of information regarding the existing home when the project is a remodel. It truly is a seamless process working with Life Design Build. They have their stuff together, and it's quite a pleasure working with Tyson and his team!”

“Bend is full of building contractors, but Neil Kelly Co. specializes in remodeling which is why I initially called them. I really didn't want to be involved with constant delays and missing subcontractors. Neil Kelly's reputation made me feel like they were my best bet for avoiding those pitfalls. As it turned out, I was right. Paul Haigh worked with me to bring my desires for a new bathroom within budget....my desires exceeded my budget....and while I was disappointed that I couldn't have everything that I wanted, I am pleased with the result. Paul and the Neil Kelly Co. design professionals were very familiar with the materials available and the cost of those materials and were invaluable in advising me regarding my choices. Paul was a joy to work with and proved very tenacious when a subcontractor ran into difficulties with one part of the job. He was unwilling to "let it go" and although it took a couple of tries to get it right, it is done now. The main part of the job was completed on schedule, or even a little early, so I was back in the bathroom right on time. I would recommend Paul Haigh and the Neil Kelly Co. for any remodeling project you may be considering. Judy Minnich, Bend, Oregon”

“We hired Dream Home Builders to build our "dream home" after meeting the builder, Mike Ardeljan, while in Bend in fall 2012 when we were considering a move across country from Virginia to Oregon. We just happened to see a house under construction that appealed to our style, and lucky for us, Mike was on the site and gave us a tour of his almost completed house he was building for a client. We were wowed, to say the least. Green building is what we were interested in, as well as a contemporary design and this house offered it all. We talked with the home owners after completion and they couldn't say enough about Mike's talents in design and construction. Their home inspector even gave glowing reviews: " high quality workmanship" is what I remember and he couldn't have been more accurate. Mike approaches design from a "team effort" approach. He listens to your needs and wants and goes from there. We were involved every step of the way and enjoyed every moment. If you've ever built, which we had done three times, you may agree that building can be a rocking rollacoaster. Not this time. We are thrilled with our design and the quality of work. Mike is always available to answer our questions and to discuss ideas or concerns. He knows house building and obviously loves every phase of it. We can't say enough about Mike and his company. If you want your dream home and you're building in the Bend area, check him out. You won't be disappointed.”

“Cascadia Design Build was awesome during our basement and bathroom remodel. Innovative and budget focused, they were helpful and efficiant throughout the build. It REALLY helped having both the designer and builder under one roof, and made the process enjoyable. We would definitely use them again!!”

“We've been in our new (award-winning!) SolAire home now for 2 months and we love it. We looked at a LOT of homes in Bend, and the quality of the SolAire construction and finishes was just flat out better than everything else we saw. Our new home is certified both Earth Advantage Platinum and Net-Zero Ready (we're working on adding Solar in the coming months), so we feel good about buying an eco-friendly, efficient home. You might think there is some sort of sacrifice or trade-off when buying green, but this is not the case with SolAire - it's all top-notch. Thank you Cindi & Mike!”

“A few years ago, Bauhaus made cubbies for our mud room. They did such a nice job that we hired them to build built-ins, a new mantle, and a coffered ceiling for our den. We also hired them to build a bar for a commercial space in a winery tasting room. They did an amazing job on all of the work. Bauhaus is incredible at all phases of the project -- the design, the building and all the small details. Greg is fully committed to making it look the best it can and that is why every project that Bauhaus does is such high quality. All the projects came in on budget and Greg and his team are also very nice to work with. I would highly recommend Bauhaus Craftsman and will use them again in the future!”
