“Manny Lopez and his team of professionals completed a full remodel of the landscaping projects we desired around our home last year. All of the work was top quality and done to our satisfaction. He coordinated his team's work with other contractors installing solar, and a large swim spa, as well as a complex deck. There were no disagreements with other workmen on the projects, and the advance planning allowed for the use of heavy machinery where needed, concrete deliveries, and other materials for all the other projects. Regarding ideas we had for the way we wanted the final project to look, Manny provided timely ideas, excellent solutions that were cost effective or even saved money, and he always came in on time. He kept us appraised of the project progress, items that need to be adjusted, and included changes we asked for as the project went along. He came in on budget. “Darek Janczy of DJ Construction recently completed a comprehensive remodel of my 2,433 sqft house in Pacific Grove. The project included replacing all windows, flooring, and doors; removing 1970’s “popcorn” ceilings; installing overhead LED lighting in all rooms; expanding the outdoor deck; knocking down old walls and building new ones; reconfiguring the front entry; replacing all fixtures; repainting the exterior and interior; strengthening the foundation; and creating a stunning new open kitchen with a 10-foot island. “We hired Hare Construction to do a kitchen remodel and we could not be happier. Timing: the timing we were given as a restaurant was super important to us and seemed pretty impossible. Hare met every single deadline and went above and beyond when hit with unexpected difficulties to keep us on track so that we could be opened and operational when promised. Scope of work: we were given detailed schedules of work and installs that were all met (despite complications with equipment deliveries and specs). Follow up: we were given a binder with everything that was relevant to the work including equipment, specific upgrades, vendors involved etc. Communication: It has become a joke in our company that while everyone has a construction horror story, our contractor does everything we need when we need it, without any follow up on our part. If you are looking for the typical Contractor this is not the company for you. . .if you want the a-typical Contractor that provides great communication and meets all deadlines. . .with professional friendly workers and amazing support and follow up then they are worth every penny.
