“As a homeowner for 33 years, I've had my fair share of local builders, companies and trades people attending to various house repairs on my house. Yet: the customer services and liaison provided by Rob McEwan at Refresh Renovations, Rodney surpasses them all. With Rob's committment to providing excellent service, he confidently guided a fantastic team of builders to replace rotten floorboards in two areas caused by leaks, replace a rotten interior wall, organise a gib stopper, and organise new carpet. I didn't have to do a thing: very grateful Rob had the reins and he competently steered the ship. For each of these tasks, at every developing stage, he kept me in the loop, so I rate his communication skills very highly. His attention to detail where nothing was too much bother for him; will stay in my mind for a long time. Five Stars, absolutely.”

“We had our entire house remodeled by the team at DJH Renovations. The transformation was more than we hoped for and it felt like stepping back into a new house. Like any big project there were some up and downs but the DJH Renovation team got everything sorted and up to a great standard. Special thanks to Rebecca for her amazing organizational skills, Dominic for managing the process and the council, Dan the builder and team for all their hard work and attention to detail, Austin for the best tiling work I have ever seen and Ian for keeping the electrics safe and running during the renovation.”

“A reclad project is a job that few home-owners really want to undertake. Steve and his team were a delight to work with and transformed our house into a home we are really proud of. We get regular comments on how well the finished job looks. Steve saw the tricky issues long before we did and was able to give us appropriate recommendations for those unforeseen problems. Steve's recommendations on sub-trades, material selection and his ability to talk to us at our level made us feel that our input was always welcome. We are looking forward to working with Steve on our next project soon! Anyone that needs an honest, reliable master craftsman in charge of their project need look no further.”

“We employed Manly Construction after friends recommended them. We wanted to undertake an extensive renovation and doubling in size of our house. We obtained one other quote, but the estimated pricing was too open. Gareth (Manly Construction) was honest about our budget and the possible areas of over runs in a reno of this size. We continued to live downstairs whilst the house was extended over 2 more floors, 2 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, new kitchen and flooring, and a complete new roof. The team from Manly were always respectable and flexible with a family of four (and an attention demanding dog) living on site, and we always felt totally comfortable around all of the team, which we had not experienced with our 2 other builds with different builders. The weather wasn't always kind, but they worked through and took care of the parts of the house not being renovated. We were a particularly fussy client, especially living on site and inspecting work daily. We finished pretty much on schedule and overspent by the amount we were warned we could at the beginning, We changed the plans and detail more than once and this was never an issue. All council inspections were passed first time including the final. We ended up selling and moving after about 12 months and received lots of praise for the finish and quality. We would highly recommend Gareth and his team from Manly construction, and if he'd have us, we would use him again!”
