“I have had the pleasure of having 3 houses built with John Davis of Diamond Homes. On each project he was very detailed oriented, accommodating with changes, and closed on time. Although I have worked with many different Builder over the years, there is no one else I would have build me a house... John and his Staff make what is usually a stressful process one that is enjoyable and exciting. His relaxed and calm demeanour, and knowledge of the process is unmatchable. “Andreas personally handled the work on the renovation of our master bathroom. This work was completed the beginning of November 2019. He was a very hard worker, and very conscientious of the work he was doing. He kept the area extremely clean every day. This was very helpful as this was our master bathroom and we still needed to use our master bedroom daily. He was extremely friendly and never had an issue with answering any of our questions and taking the time to explain things to us. We have hired contractors before and this was our best experience yet. We are extremely happy with the results. We highly recommend Andreas and Hombar Construction and will definitely use him in the future if we have other projects.”

“We had chosen a passive solar, well insulated, 1450 sq ft ( with walk out lower level ( another 1450 sq ft) design. Not knowing any builders, we chose a few from the Kingston Builders Assoc. We were very impressed with the detail of the Concord estimate. This was our first building experience. The house was considered a 'custom' home and was a 'turn key' home. This meant that the builder would see the project through completely until we moved in. Neither of us were able to be at the building site daily, so we had to trust our builder completely. We found Concord to be respectful and responsive throughout the project. The Concord builders and sub-trades were all very pleasant and willing to answer all our questions. Visiting the site was easy and comfortable. The passive solar required some particular design consideration and Concord added the needed siting, window size and eave changes. Martin Mack oversaw the entire project and insisted on attention to detail, especially in the insulating and sealing of the airtight construction. It was a learning experience for us, not unusual for this kind of project. We did go over budget. All additional costs were explained. There have been a few problems in this first year. Nothing very surprising, and Concord has responded quickly. We are very happy with our new house and would happily recommend Concord Homes for anyone who wants an enjoyable and professional building experience.”

“Steve and his wife are a fantastic team! They give you an upfront evaluation of your plan and guide you through the prosess with true professionalism, Steve assesed our needs and was able to navigate through our unique craftsman home. Always giving us updates both good and bad which comes with owning an older home. They are dog lovers and they even took our dog for an overnight stay at their house while some foam insulation work was being done! Cookies at Christmas were also an added touch of their personal friendly approach to custom home renovation!”

“Dan Misek was hired by Eurtton Distributions to install a kitchen in this over 100 year old cottage on Wallace Island. I was the Design Consultant, hired to design and oversee the project. It was a challenging task to install cabinets on uneven floors, walls that weren't square and a ceiling that was only 84 inches. Dan overcame many obstacles such as briddle subfloors, that had to be rebuild, existing build-ins that were so out of square that the new cabinets would not lign up to it. Dan's exceptional Carpentry skills paired with a lot of patience for detail turned this project into something amazing to look at, prestine workmanship at its finest!”
