“We have employed CDN for 2 renovations on our VT ski condo. The first was after we purchased and involved a large scale reno. The second was smaller but required Carm to take over a job that was initially started by another contractor (CDN was not available initially). This contractor was a nightmare.
For both jobs, Carm was the ultimate professional. He helped in planning and design, asking the right questions and providing great insight. His work was meticulous and detailed, with great communication throughout each project. He even helped me move the furniture! He was on time and was respectful of our needs and wishes. “Damien worked to repair an unexpected bathroom problem in our rental unit. We wanted to work with contractors as efficiently as possible because we didn’t want our tenant to be without a bathroom any longer than was necessary! Damien took charge of hiring the plumber because we were traveling at the time. He coordinated the work so that there was no lag between his work and the plumbers work, which kept the bathroom useable for a maximum amount of time. Job was done beautifully and he stayed in contact with us so we understood the timeline and what was being done.Also, Damien is a great guy to work with- easy!”

When I initially spoke with Warren about my project, he told me that he would be down that afternoon - and he arrived early. I provided Warren with an overview of the issues (that he also saw). He asked a number of questions, and then proceeded to describe possible options to rectify the problems. Warren brought along a photo album of projects he had worked on over the years from building entire homes to smaller home projects. I decided to hire Warren and the project was completed on time and within budget. They provided ideas and consulted throughout the design process, sharing options for needed products, vendor and retail suggestions. As some items inevitably changed during construction they were understanding and willing to adjust. They ran a very neat construction site and kept the project on time. Chris Quinn oversaw the project from a business/planning perspective, David Matesi was point person on site (and a talented blacksmith!) and worked with Dave, Nate & Arna - a great team all around.”

“Salamander Construction remodeled a circa 1940's camp for us at Lake Dunmore, Vermont.
I highly recommend them. They did an excellent job in a design/build capacity. They took a seasonal cabin and transformed it into a 4 bedroom, 2 bath 4 season home, new kitchen, new bathrooms, new electric. The home blends perfectly with the surroundings. It is now so well insulated that we can keep it very livable with just a couple of logs in the wood stove.
Jed and his workers are all very professional- and they left the property in excellent condition. Jed currently acts as my property manager and prepares the property when we want to visit in the winter.”
