Yet: the customer services and liaison provided by Rob McEwan at Refresh Renovations, Rodney surpasses them all. With Rob's committment to providing excellent service, he confidently guided a fantastic team of builders to replace rotten floorboards in two areas caused by leaks, replace a rotten interior wall, organise a gib stopper, and organise new carpet. I didn't have to do a thing: very grateful Rob had the reins and he competently steered the ship. For each of these tasks, at every developing stage, he kept me in the loop, so I rate his communication skills very highly. His attention to detail where nothing was too much bother for him; will stay in my mind for a long time. Five Stars, absolutely.”

    “In 2009 I purchased a 2 bedroom 30 year old Brick and Tile house north facing on the shores of the Panmure Lagoon. Unbeknownst to me at the time it had won house of the year when constructed all those years before! After living, (and as you do planning), in it a few years, I engaged Alpha 1 Builders carry out the extensive renovations which incorporated ; opening the house out, create two new levels and completely upgrade the house and fittings. All that was left after one week were the external walls. Wrapped in plastic the work began in earnest. Paul's attention to detail and planning meant the build was completed on time and on budget. Of course things changed during the build as they do, but this was made easy by the professional and trademan like care taken by all his staff. Alterations by myself to the original specifications were costed and approved before work was carried out so I never felt concern that the project was running away on me. When Paul suggested that he enter it in house of the year I was enthusiastic and then overjoyed to receive a gold medal. The finished product is a 4 Bedroom easy flowing house with three bathrooms, an enormous rumpus/theater room and open plan Kitchen/Dining and lounge area, opening onto a sweeping sun-drenched deck that displays unobstructed views of the water. Now after three years of living in our house we still enjoy it everyday and find it works well and flows naturally. It's not unusual to sit on one of the superb north facing decks sipping a Flat White gazing out over the waters and pondering the choice of going to work or,,, having another!”

    “A reclad project is a job that few home-owners really want to undertake. Steve and his team were a delight to work with and transformed our house into a home we are really proud of. We get regular comments on how well the finished job looks. Steve saw the tricky issues long before we did and was able to give us appropriate recommendations for those unforeseen problems. Steve's recommendations on sub-trades, material selection and his ability to talk to us at our level made us feel that our input was always welcome.     “We asked Petras and the Nest crew to help us with (for us anyway !) quite a major swimming pool, feature wall and multiple deck build. We are absolutely delighted by their work. Even Auckland Council staff commented on the professionalism of their work. Combined with an outstanding work ethic, impeccable manners and a great bunch of guys, I have absolutely no hesitation in giving Petras and the NEST crew an outstanding reference.     “We hired Josh's company to build a new house for us. He started helping us while we were designing it with the architect. Nothing was too much of a bother for him. He was more than happy to discuss prices or alternative ideas throughout the build. Unlike other builders Josh wasn't opposed to building off the ground rather than on a concrete platform. The workmanship provided was excellent and the project was completed within the time frame advised at the beginning of the build and to a high standard without costing the earth. Josh project management skills were exceptional for a young tradesman. He ensured the sub-contractors timing and work was up to his standards throughout. Built Right NZ Ltd has also completed a number of other projects on our other properties before and after the new build. Ranging from house alterations, barn repairs, shed extensions, to a new shed. The work was always completed to a high standard and done efficiently. I would highly recommend Built Right NZ Ltd to anyone looking at a new build or renovations.”
