“We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“We bought our lovely traditional stucco home knowing we would remodel much of the house. It had great bones but the kitchen and baths were in dire need of being redone. The stairs to the lower level were terrible as were the lower rooms. We wanted our dream house. We had worked with Lisa & Gary on upgrading our previous home for sale and were very pleased with their work, so we called them to do the remodel. We love to cook so the kitchen was a priority. Gary and Lisa listened to everything we wanted and came up with the perfect plan doubling our square footage and adding 2 master suites, a fabulous kitchen with a family room and office. With great planning we were able to live in our home during much of the work including working around our 2 kids and 3 cats!. Most importantly they transformed our house into our dream home. They were able to maintain the historical architecture and blend in the more modern finishes in the kitchen and baths. We love our house and are never moving!”

“How wonderful to have a decorator who does not provide cookie-cutter designs. She looked at our home, listened to who we are and what we wanted and provided us with choices. From our slate entry to our new floors to the built-ins in the family room to our granite in the kitchen and bathroom, it all ties together to provide a warm, comfortable home. We get so many compliments, I think we may have the design others want to copy.”

“I loved working with Kelly and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer who brings creativity, but designs something that fits YOU. My husband, daughter and I had just moved from NYC to LA, so we hired Kelly to help us design a space that reflected our energy, experiences, personality and the SoCal vibe. I always dreamed of going lighter with color in a living space, but never had the guts. Kelly listened intently to what we had to say and then suggested risky and creative ideas based on our conversation, budget and key pieces of furniture we wanted to keep. As a result, Kelly turned our apartment into our home...that looks more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. People walk in and are stunned at how unique it looks in its vibrancy and style, while still reflecting who we are. Kelly told us in our initial meeting that we would love it, we would not know which room we liked the best, and we would never want to move out. Mission accomplished. We absolutely love it! Also, Kelly is an extremely warm-hearted, kind individual, and she made the process fun and easy (which was such a blessing as we were juggling a cross country move, a 1 year old and new jobs). She responded to emails promptly and effectively, and moved through our project with the pace at which we were comfortable. If we ever move again (which I don't want to now!!!) I will hire Kelly in a heartbeat. :)”

“This being our first major remodel to our home of 15 years, the planning and execution was a very daunting task for us because it included our Kitchen, Living room and Family room. We were not sure whether the decisions we take was going to be correct. That is when we met Swati at a booth in an event in Cupertino. Working with Swati was the best decision we took. She helped us with the planning, designing and working with our contractor throughout the project. She came up with practical ideas for our Kitchen. She recommended the stores from where we could buy materials and accompanied us while we shopped for appliances, flooring other major purchases for our project. Swati was always punctual for all appointments and was clear in all her communications. We highly recommend Swati for your home projects.”

“It was a great pleasure to work with Kimball. She carefully listened to what I wanted my place to look and feel like and listened to my ideas of how to bring that about. She had lots more great ideas, but wasn't pushy and did a great job of bringing together both style and my quirks! I have a few unique items from my past that I didn't think matched with much else, but Kimball integrated them beautifully with my new pieces. She knew lots of places for furniture and other items that I had never even heard of. She also knew lots of contractors ( who proved quite skillful), and kept me abreast of what was going on both schedule-wise and budgetwise. I would not hesitate to work with her again”
