“We called on Ruth for help to turn part of our unused south facing driveway into a small garden space. We wanted privacy, but at the same time didn't want to create a bleak barrier to the surrounding neighbours. Ruth's design blew us away and we knew from the offset that she got us. We were lucky enough to be able to do the work ourselves, but Ruth has been with us all the way - troubleshooting effectively when needed and encouraging us with her enthusiasm for the project. The outcome is a stunning, private, contemporary sun trap that we use every day. We can't recommend Ruth highly enough.”

“Amy created a garden about 5 years ago for our new house in the country on a difficult sloping site. She is the perfect designer, listening to the client and producing both design and planting plans that complement the house and incorporate the client's thoughts. The planting has taken account of the soil and site conditions and continues to thrive. The garden has evolved over the 5 years and Amy continues to give advice where needed and encouragement where plants mis-behave. Amy is adaptable, professional and a delight to work with. We would have no hesitation in recommending her.”

She came up with a number of well thought out and creative structural ideas at the same time as supplying us with a list of plants and exactly where they should be placed for maximum effect. The end result was amazing! We have had comment after comment on what a beautiful space our garden now is and not only is it a wonderful space to be in, but it is also a real pleasure to open the curtains in the morning and look out onto such a well thought out and planted space (no matter what the time of year). “Helen Elks-Smith came to visit our garden on a very rainy day. After quite a long discussion on what we wanted to achieve, she then sat outside for almost two hours trying to understand what she could do to make our garden work within the harbour surroundings. She produced some initial drawings and made several suggestions that we had not considered and inevitably expanded the scope of what we were trying to do. Helen then arranged for other Companies to come in and build the garden and do the planting out. She made frequent visits along the way to make sure that everything was right for us. It was more than alright it was absolutely superb and she managed to interpret everything that we wanted and created an absolute triumph. We are truly delighted with what she and her Company have created, a legacy for the future.”
