“Greg at VisionScape Design was recommended to me by my landscaper to help design a pool for my backyard, complete with landscaping, pool patio, etc. The project was somewhat challenging, because my backyard is sloped. Greg's design shows fencing, a walkway with steps from the driveway and deck to the pool, as well as steps and a walkway from a covered patio. There will also be a whirlpool on a lower deck, overlooking the pool. Greg's design was perfect, way above what I expected. But what really blew me away was the way he presented the plans. It included a construction plan, a beautiful planting schematic in color with all plants specified, numerous color "photos" showing what the final design will look like from many angles, as well as a video as if you were walking to the pool, with additional perspectives and even aerial views, and views at night. Greg went way above and beyond and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Greg and VisionScape Design!”

After seeing the results of Lisa Mierop’s designs from friends and neighbors we asked her to view our property and show us a plan. The plans Lisa drew up for the front and back that blew us away. Lisa showed us we can add curves, height, and dimension. She incorporated existing foliage, and added in an artistic blend of flowers, plants, and trees; as well as fencing and hardscaping. “We cannot say enough good things about ZO Landscaping and the owner, Mike Zinckgraf. When we moved into our new home it became quickly apparent that we needed a complete landscaping overhaul as it had been completely neglected for years. We received 5 bids. Not only was Mike's amongst the most reasonable, it was the most comprehensive and creative. His use of technology allowed us to visualize the changes to our home and therefore make informed choices. The scope of the project included the removal of: all existing grass and greenery, a patio, a retaining wall, our front walk and additonal hardscaping. Mike then re-designed the entire property including the proper grading, two new walkways and stairs, a new sprinkler system, a play area, new grass and new trees, shrubs and plants. He managed multiple subcontractors (electicians, sprinklers and hardscapers) as well as his personal team. Everybody associated with him was eager to please. Throughout the project (which lasted 5 weeks), Mike was on site multiple times a day, was flexible and helpful as our needs and opinions evolved (ie: "we decided last night that we need to put in a swingset. where should we do that? how? or...we don't like where you planted that tree even though we already told you that we did, can you please move it?) , was hyper responsive and available by phone, email and text; and he identified unforeseen problems as they arose and provided us with reasonably priced solutions. There were a number of occasions where Mike could have charged us more as we were left with little alternative, but instead was extremely reasonable in his costs. Mike also worked in partnership with our contractor as we were building a new deck at the same time--Mike provided solutions that had not been considered and saved us over $10,000. The transfortmation was so siginificant that our daughter's have nicknamed him "Mike the Magician!"”
