“Aitken & Associates considered all of the elements we wished to include in the landscape of our home, together with the grading plan of our lot, and came up with a design that could accommodate our wishes. We have been enjoying the result for 10 years now, with my only regret being the things I changed on my own from the written design plan as we were executing, thinking I had just come up with "better" idea. Wrong! They know what they're doing, and you can be sure its been thought all the way through. Everyone in the office was great to work with, returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner, and showing up for scheduled appointments on time. Our design plan was done when they said it would be, and we went straight to the City to get our permits. Which brings up another thing: Aitken & Associates was clearly familiar with our City ordinances because upon review by the City, there was nothing in our landscape design plan that we couldn't get permitted. We were very pleased with Aitken & Associates.”

“The owner is amazing and he did such an amazing job building a retaining wall in my backyard. My husband and I had this idea in our head we could do this ourselves.... Wrong! I called several places for an estimate, they were all about the same price. More than I thought it would be. The owner came by for the estimate and the price was slightly cheaper than the rest, but that's not why we chose him. Why we did was because he gave us so much more for our money!!! Instead of leaving us with piles of dirt to deal with, he repurposed else where on our land and filled in some places we were thinking about in the future. He also gave us another option of stone that was more cost effective and it matches the backdrop of our home. He got us ready for installation of turf.That is a later project, but we are all set us for the installation. So we are further along in our project than we would be if we choose someone else. Long story long, he knows what he is doing, he gives you more worth for your money, he finished the job so quickly, I forgot to mention that. The job was done faster than I thought it would take... If you want a job done correctly the first time, in a timely fashion, be able to give you options that fits your budget, and give your more value towards your dollar, hire Vander Landscaping and Construction. We appreciate the work they did!”
