“Carey was a delight to work with. She listened to my goals for my yard and created a long term plan for landscaping. The pictures are of phase one which is the front of the house. She found a water bowl that adds an architectural element and is lovely to look at in the rain. Installation was perfect and done in a timely manner. Can't wait to add to the project this spring.”

“Melissa MacDonald is a very talented and professional Landscape Architect. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. She worked seamlessly with the contractor who highly respected her expertise. “Bayberry Nurseries helped us chose a unique tree for our home landscape. The Bayberry associates harvested, transported and replanted our Paviflora on our property. They were professional, friendly, efficient, detail oriented, positive happy energy, hard working and a pleasure to have. I kind of feel they are like the landscape geeks! You know, the people who get really excited about plants and trees and know just way too much about them! This unique experience of choosing materials that are growing in the ground and have to be harvested was such a beautiful, joyful process. It's as if they not only care about the people, but they truly care about the trees and environment too. Justin really spent a lot of time to make sure he matched us with the right tree. We feel as if we have adopted into our family, a living energy that we will be happy to care for and watch grow. It was so easy!”

“I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. “Laura and her Cultivar team did an outstanding job for us as we did a full outdoor renovation: new plants and beds, trees, replaced the lawn, added an irrigation and drainage system, patio and pergola install, deck work, stone walls and paths and outdoor lighting. “No one is better than Blade of Grass. Exceptional vision coupled with practical advice. Our backyard plan morphed from a simple "let's knock off the rotting deck" to a backyard redo replete with blue stone patio, field stone wall, irrigation system, tree removal and many new trees and plantings. The team worked hard under difficult conditions (no access for machinery, giant boulder to dig out), the job was done in a timely manner and the outcome surpassed my very high expectations. Tom and Pete were easy to work with, professional and fun. They listened to what we wanted and guided us on key plantings/trees. When a winter storm caused a tree to list heavily to one side, they came and replanted it - almost a year after the job. I am incredibly happy with our backyard transformation and highly recommend Blade.”
