Bathroom renovation

Hi
I have been undergoing a small bathroom renovation for six months. It commenced in January and came to a holt in April. Due to poor waterproofing and workmanship, the bathroom was stripped back and now under another tradesman. Work recommenced in May and the wall tiles have been 3/4 completed ( 300 from roof) the wall height is 2400 so the tiles have been completed to 2100. I chose a hexagonal mosaic for the bath niche (600 x300) and was going to have a strip in the shower wall. However the tiler wasn't informed of these instructions by his boss and tiled without the feature tile. He managed to get the niche tiles off without damaging the waterproofing, but I am afraid of damaging the waterproofing of the shower by removing the wall tiles. As there is a 300 gap between the last tile and the ceiling, Do you think a 100 mm border of mosaic framed in the last 300mm white would look ok? I have been so long without facilities, I'm looking for an alternative fix.
Thank you in advance
