Bedroom ideas please

This is going to be the master bedroom. There are two windows on the wallpaper wall and all other walls are a sea fog colour soft green/blue from the whites colour chart. The flowers in the wallpaper have the sea fog colour in. Tho carpet colour charcoal/brown

What should I do for bed and bed colours. I was thinking black headboard, but then my vision disappeared.

i am working without sizes etc., but i think i can show you some pics of appropriate bedding. you can do a black head board, but after that i think i would watch it unless you want a very dark room. gray, white?

Naturally i dont think you want patterned sheets. more trying to get a feel for what colors go, cause all i see is black wallpaper with white flower, yellow stamines? and gray walls.

Let us know. pretty room though.

Thank you for your input.

The room does fit a California king bed, and some side tables but not much else.

I very much like pic 4 and the colour is close to the seafog wall colour, but with more punch.

Looking at those photos, I'm now thinking I should go for a softer headboard rather than black.

Think of it as a cheerleader skirt look. Start with the ends and keep splitting center and adding the pleat. until you have the fullness you like. The back technically has the folded pleat and the front is the side with the folds. Hope that helps.

Would it be more cost effective to leave shower and toilet where they are… or would it cost much more to swap them over? Another idea was to build shower outside the floor plan and go under the eaves… could this be done? Thank you

no problem, so are you saying that wall is closest, but stronger, do you think it might like a smokey teal? that is very in right now, or is it like the grayed out turquoise on the coverlet? Grey would be a wonderful accent with that. Have you thought of making your headboard? So amazingly simple? Give yourself like a nice padded gray? Could go for a silk or velvet? oh do you have dark hairy people? you know like black retrievers or something? that could be a problem. If you put covered buttons, there is actually a little tool (under $10 does it all for you. really glam it up.

do these help? I think i would go with light gray or a variation of the wall color. let me know when you are ready for more.

I can't quite see the light color which you refer to and I am guessing the wall paper is brown.

The color in this photo is not correct, but it the idea I have:

The light for the headboard against the wallpaper and then the dark for the accent bedding.

The main walls are like a greyed out turquoise. The wallpaper is black base with Grey and the greyed out turquoise. The stamens are rust coloured

Thank you Blenheimnz (me Wn NZ), judy and having fun, what you say makes perfect sense. If I cover the headboard in the lightest colour then that gives the relief against the walls. It's starting to feel better.

Although high fashion is mixing patterns, I would def not do that here. I am seeing a light sage green in the room, plus draw from the colours in the flowers.

So you see where they go well together, so dark walls, do bed in silvery gray then maybe simple white sheets and maybe a few things in the rust to orange. Remember 3 is where it is intentional. Have fun, let us see!
