Hi experts! I usually have a fairly good idea on different looks but Im stumped with this one. We bought a house that has been added to again and again in the 80's originally it was just the two story weather board house on the left. The place has some water tightness issues that we can fix for about 10 years we've been advised. Long term we will knock it down and build a new house but for the next 10 years we still want it to look ok ;) what do you think of black house and white gables/windows, we will redo the left roof black, the middle addition looks strange with steped roof?! Also not sure of the polished black look tho? Or maybe a White House black roof? Husband talking about cedar cladding on a part of the house but again I don't want to spend lots as we are knocking it down one day.
