washing area in bathroom
Comments (9)It will be a very tight fit, but if you purchase a prefabricated - very small shower - it might work. The shower would have to be 36" wide with a corner entry, but I don't know how much room you have next to the toilet......? It's tight. so I am not sure about the width of the shower. You will have to measure the space. The stacking washer and dryer would be freestanding next to the shower at 24" wide. I agree that it would be better to have a tight bathroom and have more room in the kitchen....See MoreKeeping some character - glass tile in bungalow bathroom renovation?
Comments (9)If you are looking to keep the "period" look, then I say no. My place is from 1916 & had a gross 1980's reno. I ripped out all the ugly vinyl floor & cheap Sears sink & went with a black hex floor, white subway, dark grey grout on both. Toilet & tub were original, but I got an old "Standard" wall mount sink with chrome legs & towel bars & an antique medicine chest, light fixtures & glass shelving & towel bar off Ebay. My total job...about $5k. Help my tile guy is my neighbor, but those 10, 15, 20k bathrooms were out of the question....See MoreNeed help on the exterior for more traditional look...

Any other suggestions or comments ??...See MoreNeed help with my bathrooms
Comments (3)Lindsey, I see you have a couple inspiration boards, use ideas for colors, styles, finishes, faucets, counter tops, etc for your new home, just on a smaller scale. Maybe find your dream bath and copy those finishes into your small space. Vanities ideas could include an antique piece repurposed. Tile can be cold, yet, carpet and wood do not do well in wet areas. With that said, there are heating systems available now that are installed beneath the tile to take the chill off. My other trick is using one large rug runner to almost fill the size of the area instead of tiny bath mats....See MoreGriggs Masonry Ltd.
