Not a giant fan of windows behind the range, but it is what it is...so...most exhaust fan manufacturers and range manufacturers have determined the required air flow (cubic feet per minute - CFM) as well as the optimum distance from top of cooking surface to bottom of hood. Start by checking the specifications for CFM and distance from cooktop with the range manufacturer. Not sure of your location, but here in the States the IRC requires exhaust fans for kitchen, bath and laundry. Some areas, although they have adopted the Code, do not enforce it. But if broiling pork chops ever happens at your place...you sort of want it.

If you use masonry paint, we could head in a warm greige direction for all of it - not so yellow . .. something that can give you a bit more contrast against the white windows and trim - even 40 does a lot for us . . . what about a blue green gray? ~$400 including expedited shipping. My GC just had his regular countertop guy do them, which wasn't great.... he had trouble making clean cuts. If I were going to do it again I would have pressed for someone with expertise to cut them. You can see in the image that the facing is not made of the stone peak, because too much was broken during the cutting to make the mitered edge. Whittle it down to an instruction for purchase and installation. Consider challenges such as the dreadful corner cabinet turntable and splurge on solutions that make your design truly functional. You'll appreciate the expense that delivers practical functionality. There are remarkable solutions for the corner cabinet--but my fav is to determine whether that space can become storage (cabinet or drawers) in an adjoining room. When not practical, articulated pull-out stainless shelves are functional--and cool. Undermounted sinks are great for clean-line counters. Well placed recessed lighting (design again) eliminates the need for other fixtures--and allows you free rein to purchase for focal point impact or (my preference) to fit seamlesly into the overall look.
