This family had no access around their house and they have always used their front door to get into their house and a slider door out to the back lawn. We are busy creating a functional space all around their house, a flat paved area from their laundry to their washing line, a fence and gate so they can easily get their bins to the street for collection, step-down terraces to get them to their existing lawn space with planting on both sides. Some beautiful garapa wooden steps (same as their existing deck) between 2 new honed block retaining walls that will create 2 new planter boxes. This is a replica of their existing boundary wall.

Hi, any suggestions on how to make the front entrance more inviting and practical?. The entrance gets morning sun (3rd photo) and the lawn area gets midday and afternoon sun. We have a high water table too. Any suggestions on pathways and plantings would be greatly appreciated.

we are installing french doors to replace the bay window, my issue now is how do we add a deck as it's quite an awkward space with that concrete retaining wall and raised lawn. The lawn/retaining wall is about 1 to 2 inches above the floor level where the bottom of the doorway will be. the wall of the conservatory will be removed, inside is already decking so the idea was to wrap it around the house
