I would change the bedding, something to contrast with the bed. The chaise idea sounds good

I think you just need to contrast the dark bed and dark curtains with lighter linens. When I think luxury I think big European pillows with your normal sleeping pillows. The lights look great I don't know where you would fit a rug in there but I'm by no means an expert.

I would go for a rug with a bit of colour, and the dresser, with maybe some personal pics on it, or fav things. I cant see anything so far that looks personal, and it is your room and private space, so anything that makes you feel good, loved etc.

And also some lux velvet pillows from Kip & co or similar, I have the deep lake colour and they make sleeping much more special.

Definitely white linen, /quilt cover. And add luxury cushions with different textures and soft neutral colours in a complimenting pattern. But keep it simple. A small amount of an accent colour in a rich colour to give it a bit of life. Draw colours from cushions for rug colour too. A long horizontal mirror with a thick dark frame to balance out the curtains, but still bounce the light.

Hi Sobia, I think you are almost there, I have attached some photos of brass elements, a beautiful hall table for opposite the bed, I love the black and white rug in one of the pictures, the little round table and something like the art piece I have attached for either wall. Not all, just some of those elements.

I would go looking for a special piece of art work. Don't be hasty in your decision, with endless choices give it plenty of thought. I would then use it as a guide to introduce some colours into the room.

Perhaps introduce some blue which is sophisticated with brown or grey - not too feminine yet luxurious. See if you can source a piece of art with brown & blue tones; add some euros & accent cushions as well as a textured throw - even a luxury fur throw. Cobbled together some pics to illustrate what I mean. Also opposite your bed perhaps a retro buffet or similar - needs to be long & narrow to reflect the shape of the window on the wall; gives extra storage in bedroom (you can never have too much); add some beautiful blue glass vases on top of buffet. I think the blue and shades of brown suggested by allanaspree would look wonderful.

you need to brighten up the room. You need a huge mirror or piece of art work above the bed and add contrasting knick-knacks. The room has no personality. A large light coloured floor rug in front of the bed will also help.

I think you need to soften the look and colour of the bed by mixing white and cream bed linen maybe with a little soft grey accents. I would go for a variety of textures in the textile as apposed to any outrageous colour and layer the look with throws and cushions. A mirror long and sleek would look great behind bed and a tall floor lamp and some greenery eg: potted palm in the corner by the window. Good Luck!

Hi Sobia, at the end of the day, if you like the bench then buy it, don't worry what we think. I would prefer something a little less heavy as, to me, it is not quiet the style of the rest of your bedroom which looks very classy I might add. I have attached a photo which I think would suit the room more?

I would you with white linen - luxury hotel style and then add a sparkly coloured thew and cushions
