We are in the design phase for a new build. We have quite a lot of glazing in our design (lots of North facing windows, including 6 panel opening door) and we are looking through our options for thermal performance. If we were only able to afford one of thermal broken aluminium or low e film, what would you pick? Are they worth it for our climate (Wellington)? Advice welcomed!

Hey all, we have a mid 90's house with a couple of glass brick windows, one of which has started to seep with heavy rain causing the interior sill Gib to crumble. How should I tackle this as I can't see any obvious area where water may be getting in. Cheers

Hi, is there any minimum window clearance under NZ building standard? I would like to install a 1600x350x350mm wall mount side cabinet in my bathroom which will beside window. Is there any rule that can't be installed too close to the window due to the impact to the window structure?
