Kitchen and Living Room thoughts
Comments (17)Like your space and choice of green. Like the green in the kitchen you referred us to. Looks a little darker or less yellow than one you did with Photoshop? You have the same issue as many of us, for one reason or another we end up trying to blend two disparate styles. The couches say man's room, formal, brown wood to me. Your room, kitchen and fireplace say much lighter in colors , style and spirit! If you try to blend the two you will end up with neither. Your purchases to go with the couches will just add to things pushing you in a direction you don't appear to want to go! I'd suggest you find some sofa covers, or even bed coverlets if you can't get covers to put over the couches. I like the colors in the fireplace. Please tell us more about what styles you like....See MoreOpen shelving in kitchen?
Comments (9)I always think it looks like you're too poor to afford cupboards to store and protect your stuff in... and where I live they'd have instant-mudpie-mix combined with that fuzz flocking in under a week. Add water and make your own mudpies. After two weeks that greasy grime starts showing that takes massive amounts of Dawn dishsoap and elbow grease to banish. I'd rather not have to go to the work of having to clean all that weekly and wash it before I used it anyways. Pretty to take a picture of, highly impractical in real life....See MoreHelp! Comments (29)I am planning to add scatter cushions and think if I do a pair of larger ones for each end so they go over the arms to creat height at each end, and a couple of smaller ones, I want to bring some colour in too. I do like the idea of a larger side light at either end to, Switching the sofas is going to be my final fix if all else fails!!...See MoreSliding gate dilemma ...
Comments (5)Hi Chris, Is there a reason you need a sliding gate as opposed to swing/standard gates? We could make you this sliding gate in a wooden design to match your fence type, or another set of wooden gates to your bespoke requirements. Our Website is http://www.portcullis-gates.co.uk where you might find some design ideas to help get you started, or we have some idea & project books on our Houzz page. Please don't hesitate to get in contact if you would like us to do a site visit, and put some designs together for you. Good Luck with all your projects, Best Wishes, Portcullis...See MoreTransitional Designs, LLC
