I agree that there is a lot of space being wasted with hallways, and there is only one bathroom in the house. Also, you have a back bedroom that can only be accessed from the "lounge", which I assume is the living room? Usually, the living room is at the front of the house and the kitchen flows from that space, so my first change would be to knock out the walls between the front bedroom, lounge and back bedroom and re-create that whole space. Of course, then you are asking about moving o,imbuing, must consider whether there are load-bearing walls, etc. so, definitely hire someone who can help you with this. And good luck!...See MoreNeed help for a joinery unit for living area in contemporary home
Comments (3)If you are planning on having this built you need to discuss it with the carpenter and have him draw up plans. If you are looking for premade cabinetry it is doubtful you will find something that will accommodate the pole. We would be able to make further suggestions once you have a plan for the cabinet as far as storage and design. From what you are looking for I suggest a full wall built in cabinet customized for your needs....See MoreNeed help with this sad living room
Comments (5)If this photo from your ideabook is the look you are going for, try adding a rug and inexpensive coffee table. To keep budget down, try an indoor outdoor rug you may find on sale at the end of the summer. The other thing you could change easily would be curtains or other window treatments in a zingy color or pattern. Perhaps there are curtains in another part of the house that could be swapped with these? Try taking them down to get a good look at the blank space possibilities....See Moreliving room
Comments (1)Hi Pardeep, The cushions you buy all depends on how you want the finished room to look. You could go for geometric white and black for a more contemporary look, or add a touch of colour to give the room warmth....See MoreNicola Wood
