Hi Juliette, it very much depends on the style of kitchen the client would like or which would suit the architecture of the house. Clients these days don't seem to want the doors too fussy so the simple shaker door as in this image is quite popular for Hampton's or French Provincial Style kitchens. Flat panels in either satin, matte or gloss suit modern kitchens and panels to look like shiplap or tongue and groove (depending which hemisphere you are in) suit the beach style homes and decor. As usual there a thousands options and it is best to keep in mind the overall look and style you want in your home and kitchen.
