Is a tile floor too cold?

Does anyone have any advice on the use of tiles instead of polished concrete as a 'thermal mass' for passive heating?

We are building a new house and where going to have a polished concrete slab but now going with tiles on the floor in the living areas and carpet in the bedroom. It is north facing with plenty of large glass stackers so will get a lot of winter sun, with the expectation that the tile floor on concrete will absorb the heat and release it later in the day. We will have a wood burner for heat. We are building off grid so can't use any electric heating.

I'm now a bit worried that it will feel cold having a tile floor.
