I notice in this picture that the top appliance is upside down. Can I do this with any appliance in order to have the space between them. What i the purpose of separating them so much and turning the top one upside down? Thanks for your help.
Hi Patty, The dryer is upside down so the operating buttons are closer to the user (otherwise they would be too high). It is a front loading dryer so this is possible. The appliances are separated, as below is a top loading washing machine, therefore the lid can be opened and then washing placed in and out. It means that you can save on space at a lower level. Placing an appliance upside down depends on the model, however it is quite common to be able to do this (largely with dryers).
