I assume the windows abut in the corner? This would make it tricky to have romans as they would probably clash when both drawn up. Curtains drawing away from the corners add softness to a dining area, but make them floor length as short curtains look a bit half mast. It is also a good idea to have them wider than the windows to allow more light in when opened and fitted from above the window to elongate the window.

I have a similar sized ensuite in my own house and would definitely not put two doors in it. You will probably find that a fixed glass panel to half the width and a glass door the other half would work fine. Alternatively you can get a sliding glass door (again 50/50) if you like the look of them as they do save on space.

Hello, I am in the beginning stages of designing (rough design, for someone more professional to finish off), and building a 50m2 single room building. I'm bound to have numerous questions as the process moves along. But for now, I have what I thought would be a simple thing to just look up online, yet it wasn't. There is a 5m height restriction in the area. The site is sloping. I've looked extensively online and couldn't find any useful information on how I determine the building height, when the site is on a slope. The only info I found referred to the height being from the ground level (prior to any earthworks commencing), to the highest point on the building. How is the "ground level" determined on a sloping building site? Also, if we dig some way into the slope, which will effectively lower the visual profile of the building, does this impact from what point we measure the building height? Does anyone know?
