based on the drawing, the wall where the bed is. HOWEVER, you mentioned that this drawing is not a true depiction of the furniture you will use and the wallpaper. if that is the case, i think the wall paper can work on either wall, it all depends on how busy this wallpaper is and how "plain" the bed is. if you go with a busy wallpaper behind the bed, you may want to keep your bed and bedding on the minimal side so that there is a good visual balance to the overall composition. if you go with snazzier bedroom furniture, then a busy wallpaper may be a bit much and you may want to put it on the other wall or use a textural option to serve as the bed's background rather then another focal point.

I agree with emily. if you want leave connections and/or a little extra room for what you don't want, but feel you may need for resale. I think the tub is a pretty important item. wet room not at all, and shower is give or take. i would prefer a big shower and a tub for soaking in, but I have always had the combo. I remember my mom built during big wet bar craze, she did not care for one. had space built, capped off connections and use as a closet. Now it is 35 years later, everyone wants to buy and tear down. Darned if you do, darned if you don't. i agree, I would also really like the separate toilet, we are not share everything people.

Wow! Very impressive! I would love to know the colour of paint used for the walls and the trims - the skirtings look like a brighter white than the walls? I love it all!

I just bought a one bedroom apartment. As I'm hoping to have the occasional guest from out of town, I need sleeping solutions. I was thinking a sofa bed but I'm struggling to find something that's both comfortable and stylish. Anyone have either suggestions for where I can buy a good sofa bed, or just other suggestions for a guest bed? I live in Wellington and the budget is pretty good but not endless.
