Hello, Happy to help!

Kitchen-sink-wall to fridge-wall the room is 11'-5".

Beside the wine storage are 2 doorways, and the dimension from stove-wall to the second doorway is 17'-1" (there is a small dinette behind the camera)

The island is 21" x 57-1/2".

The stove wall to the island edge is 34".

Fridge depth is 28".

Surrounding counter depth is 24".

We used Wright Kitchens for this project.

Handles for kitchen / what size stone benchtop

I am about to finally order our kitchen and wonder what the opinion is on 20 mm benchtop (engineered stone) or 30 mm. We are having Heritage Ezi Venice extrusion handles and I am a bit worried that maybe they will overpower the 20 mm benchtop? The cupboards are white and the benchtop is Grigio Mist (grey) and still deciding on a handle colour! Cheers and thanks :_

I am renovating the kitchen/diner/lounge in my apartment. I chose engineered oak flooring, plus a thick underlay with excellent soundproofing properties. Measuring up today with the kitchen company and the flooring company, there was a hearty debate about whether to 1) lay the flooring first and kitchen cabinetry after, or 2) cabinetry installed first, and the flooring around it. I would very much appreciate any advice on this matter. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Geoff, that’s a good point! We will paint the walls a white with slight grey to it, do you think a white splashback would work? We were thinking black to match the cooktop but also show off the benchtop. If anyone needs more info - the rest of the house is quite neutral, leaning towards a slight country theme but still keeping it modern.

The distance between the countertops is 3ft. We recommend not going any smaller than this as well.
