What colour should I paint the wall behind the table?
Comments (6)I love your outside entertaining area. It does need a color that would complement but give the area a focal point. I like the darker red, orange colors you may find in natural. You could dress up the table with accessories and place cushions in a complimentary color on the benches. Colored potting containers would also bring it all together. I like the uplighting here in the photo you could place along the back fence to add drama. Your area reminds me of Modern mediterranean landscaping....See MoreWhat to do with the arrangement with a small bedroom
Comments (8)Yes, I know. Small spaces are so hard sometimes. But look at Taiwan, or Thailand, they have small spaces and definitely make it fit! It seems like you like to change things around often. I change my room around too. For organization, I suggest get a small desk and stick some shelves over the desk only. Youll have alot more creative room on the floor that way. Have a rolling side table. 2 floor liners and/or rug throws to place wherever. Comfy pillows to lounge on the floor. Go to Anna's linens or the nearest discount fabric store and get some cool fabrics to use as window shades. You can change the fabric depending on the season or if you get sick of the color. You would be amazed the difference in how your room looks depending upon the color the curtain creates when light shines in the room. For the bed, Get two throws, have fun with the design, get something you like regardless if you think it will match or not. Lastly, you can put the extra throws, pillows, blankets in bins under you bed. Cheers!...See MoreWhat can I make?
Comments (5)I would make a wine bottle holder - not sure of the size of pictured objects but the blue one with with hole could be the base of it. I would do a web search for wine bottle holders and look at the images, lots of crazy/cool stuff out there. Or a hamster agility course (again depends on size) :) there are some really funny hamster/mouse agility videos out there....See MoreNot sure what to do to my kitchen
Comments (17)Lighting - pendants over the servery bench should be another feature that complements your chosen kitchen surfaces. So whilst I love the copper pendants in picture 1.. They could work depending on the rest of your decor and would be a highlight in a neutral white/timber kitchen = Good! If you choose copper you would complement it with a couple of copper bench top items. These are beautiful! (I collect copper because I love it, my kitchen pendants are silver, I renovated to sell in the next 3-5 years) You will see a picture starting to form in your mind and there is nothing wrong with making a statement with your lighting. I found that when I wasn't sure I would get a very strong sense of what was right and what was wrong for a space, then common sense or passion would determine the outcome! Here are another couple that might work, look her on Houzz under lighting, search pendants, then have fun looking!Timber tones with black or white to complement your cabinets... or Statement white pendants for a bit of quirky fun! Your personality can be reflected in your lighting and accessories creating that point of difference from the predictable white on timber look. Plus don't forget the power of greenery to punctuate the theme!...See MoreKay Lewis
